Such a great chronograph style for men to wear. The sub-dials are non functioning but add great decor to the style. The band is simulated leather with a contrasted yellow stitching. The picture is a good indicator of what it looks like. The watch is resistant to moisture and dust.

I bought this watch for my husband for his birthday. He's a Marine and always wears his digital rubber watch all the time. He wanted a nice, classy, dress watch, and he had picked this out himself, but I surprised him with it. It is a luxury watch. I'm sure it will spark a new hobby with my husband. It has a large face, fit for a man. And beautiful gold, and filigree detail. The roman numerals are understated but go wonderful with the whole design of the piece. The price tag on the watch is five dollars short of 4 figures. And with overstock.com we certainly didn't pay that amount, but still got a luxury watch. I will certainly order time pieces from here in the future.

The imagine on the site did not compare well with the actual watch. I intended to receive a watch with bright yellow numbers and accents, and I was very disappointed. The color of the watch is black and gold. If you are looking for something that is eye catching, don't count on the yellow color to do the job. Only the large size will gain attention. However, if you don't mind the deceiving colors and large size, then the quality of the watch seemed pretty good.

I've owned a handful of TW Steels and I'm pleasantly surprised by this one. Pulled the trigger because Big O had a great deal to purchase it. The 45mm fits nicely and the leather strap, without being broken in, adds to that fit. The blackout dial is quite visible and I chose the blue because we all wear jeans so there will always be a match there even if there is no other blue in my outfit. The pushers on the chrono are solid, not numb like other non-Swiss chronos. I have not tried unscrewing the crown case too many tines to detail how hard or easy it is but I like that design. Even if for show, it doesn't appear gaudy on the 45mm whereas on the 51mm I can see the hanging crown case being overkill. Note: I've owned two TWS 48mms, one that fit far differently than the other. I think 51mm in this style watch puts one in G-Shock territory with the crown case being over the top. I deducted one star for the leather band. Although it fits well on first fitting it doesn't feel like real leather. I like that it's not stiff but who's to say it won't start peeling or fraying in time. It does have two black rivets to complement the blackout face and a matching buckle. I'm accustomed to rubber/silicone bands on TW Steels, which are quality. I can't speak for the company's leather yet. Overall a nice score at a good price.

Guaranteed to get positive comments from everyone who sees it. A beautiful watch that's easy to read. 3 stars on Features because it's not a chrono, 4 on durability because looks fine but have not had it that long. This is a stunning and unusual piece.

This is a comfortable, large (but not huge) watch that is very easy to read (even without my reading glasses-except for the date). It is very attractive, simple, and people will never guess you paid so little - unless you decide to tell them. Even the band is great looking, well made, flexible, and supple and it feels even better than it looks. Twenty years ago, I liked wearing a multi-dial chronograph. It was distinctive and unique (and functional). These days, almost all chronographs (or worse, fake chronographs) are just common, unremarkable, and often highly unattractive. It's really not easy to find a simple, distinctive, attractive watch with only three hands, one dial, and no buttons. I was very happy when I found this watch. I also like that this watch has no rotating bezel with or without a tachometer, slide rule, or even minute markings. You may not share my opinion but I think bezels on most watches today tend to be both ugly and useless. If you share my opinion, you will be pleased with the simple, clean lines that seem to only be found on the most expensive of watches. I have always appreciated the look of analog aviation instruments and the distinctive shape of their pointers (hands). This watch emulates those old aviation instruments and the font used for the numbers (6, 9, 12) on this watch is very distinctive and clear as a Bell. It was a hard choice for me to make between this model and the August Steiner Bright Men's Quartz watch with the silver case, white numbers, and brown strap. I finally went with this watch because I really wanted a black watch (case and face) and I already had a similar looking watch with a silver case with a luminous face. What I really was looking for was this watch (black case and strap) with white markings (instead of yellow). I am not disappointed with yellow markings - I just would have preferred white. Just because it would have looked a bit more like the old analog aviation instruments. There is one (small) thing that I don't like about this watch - something I have seen in very many (if not most) other quartz watches. As the second hand ticks away, it does not always stop precisely at the center of each minute mark. Sometimes I will see it stop exactly between two minute marks, tick again and once again stop exactly between two minute marks. Then, at some point the second hand "catches up" and stops, perfectly centered on a minute mark. There must be some "play" in the mechanism which I'm guessing would significantly increase the cost to correct. That's no reason to decide not to get this watch. In fact, it's probably a nit-picky thing to bring up. That is why I only gave this watch 4 stars for appearance. If I could have given it 4½ stars, I would as most people might not ever notice. If you're on the fence about this watch, let me just say that I am quite happy with this purchase and I think you will be too.

I give this watch 4 stars only b/c the diamonds on the bezel are barely noticeable. If they were a little bigger & shined more, I would rate it excellent. Overall I think it is a beautiful watch & my husband loves it. I actually want one for myself. :)

I am really dissappointed. I registeded the watch in May for warranty when I purchased. Response to my requests for help from manufacturer has been poor - it took 3 attempts. Now I have to send it in with *** money order to pay for post and packing. It's 4 months old and not working! The watch is nice and looks good but it's no use if it cant keep the time!

I'm happy with this watch. Other reviews have mentioned the strap being on the small side, and I have to agree. I have fairly small wrists, and I'm still on the third-to-last hole on the buckle. Anyone with larger wrists would have to select a different watch, or at least get a different band. That being said, the watch itself is very nice. I particularly like the large, easy to read numbers. Other nice features are the date, chronograph, and eco-drive.

I am a female who loves big watches, they are so in style. I have an average 7 3/4" wrist, and it fits perfectly. It has a buckle band so its totally adjustable from 7 to 9 inches. If you love big watches, you'll love this one! Not so much bling to be ridiculus, but has a nice sparkle. great watch

As mentioned earlier the chronograph in the picture depicts a total of 4 dials on the face. The only actual functioning dial was the main clock part. The remainder of them are fake dials that do nothing. They are on the face for ornament purpose only. Had I known this I would not have wasted my time buying this watch and then having to return it because it was not what I had thought. The buttons displayed on the side of the face are dummie buttons as well.

Although my husband says the dial looks busy and the hour and minute hands obscure the second hand dial at times, he says the watch is just handsome. The color is a beautiful shade of bright green, the strap is nice silicone rubber and it keeps perfect time. The Hands and face markings have beautiful lume, contrary to other reviewers remarks that there is no lume on this or the orange version of this watch. My husband also owns the orange version of this watch and is just as happy with it as the green one. If you dont like the cluttered look of this style, Wenger makes one without the chronograph hands/dials.

I did a great deal of research before purchasing this watch. I considered the automatic movement, but went with the quartz for accuracy and for pricing. I LOVE the center chrono second and minute hands (that sit on the same spindle as the "time" hour and minute hands) that is a great touch. The lumes on this watch are great. Very easy to read watch. This is my first "grown-up" diver watch and I couldn't be happier. I'm very picky about my time-pieces and this one has lived up to my expectations. I did order a different original strap for it as the orange rubber does discolour pretty quickly. Just wearing it at the office it started to turn black on the edges (think of a pencil eraser) and they aren't cheap. Also, if you are thinking you'd like a bracelet, get that model, the replacement bracelet for swiss army's is $299. The leather replacement I got was $140. But was worth it to me as I found a deployment clasp that fit this watch.

This is a BIG watch with a large domed glass face that has a magnifying effect on the dial. This watch has some bulk to it so if you have a thin wrist or are a smaller guy, be forewarned. Not that it's a bad thing, just not what I expected or really saw from the photo's. It is a nice looking watch with a nice leather quality band. The buckle is rather flimsy and cheap, but at this price I shouldn't expect more. The hour and minute hands are pretty small given the size of the watchface and I found them a bit hard to read with little contrast from the silver polished numerals against the face (Black face ordered). They ought to make the hands a bit larger with more glowing material for low light and night reading. Also, if you are going to do fake Chronograph dials, don't make all the hands at 12'Oclock please. It seems to keep good time, but I only got to wear it two days before my wife decided she liked it and confiscated it from me so time will tell. LOL.

The watch itself is a good weight. Out of the box, the watch looked and felt to be of good quality. After two weeks of wearing the watch intermittently (I have 4 other watches that I switch between), the band broke without any sign of wear. Once broken, it was easy to see that the rubber was very dry and most likely prone to breaking. It was almost as if the rubber had been stored in high or low temperatures and lost its pliability. I was fairly gentle with the watch, so I believe it was likely to break no matter how it was going to be used. I wouldn't recommend this watch, especially for the price.

I just received this watch yesterday and I was suprised by the weight. Little box, hefty weight. That's a good thing. When I took this watch out of the box (which is bright yellow and makes quite an impression of its own), I was amazed by my initial reaction to it. The watch is quite beautiful. I have never owned a chronograph watch before, so the settings took a little playing around to learn (with the help of the instruction manual), but once all is said and done, I'm in love with this watch. In full disclosure, I am a woman who was looking for a big chunky watch to wear for everyday casual. At first I was concerned that purchasing a man's watch would be too much for my small wrist to pull off, however, when I compared the size of this band to other brands' band size (in the large category) that are specifically made for women, the band is not much larger at all. Although the face is large, it is not so dramatically large as to stand out as being inappropriate for my frame. I love this watch so much, I ordered another one for my father today for his Christmas gift! I would recommend it to anyone.

This Citizen is a great looking, functional timepiece. Strengths include easy to read time, eco-drive system, comfortable band, and killer aesthetics. The red second hand is a nice touch, too, and you can't beat the size of the face. I was looking for a watch that wasn't bulky but not super streamlined either. The citizen is right in between. Weaker points include a short band, hard to read chronograph, and small date window. These are minor issues that do not bring my rating below 4/5 stars. I will say that I have a tiny wrist and I'm on the 3/7 hole on the wrist band, so large arm guys just know that you won't have much extra length on the band. Skinny dudes, this watch was made for you out of the box. Pictures are accurate, but do not do the watch justice. It looks great on your arm!
