Swiss Military Men's Rocky Star Watch

I bought this watch based on the only picture available for it online right now (the one you see above). When I received the watch today and opened the box I was even more impressed. The watch is fairly large, and weighs in at about 190 grams. It's hefty and feels substantial, which I like (with the scratch-proof sapphire crystal on the front, it almost seems as if it's bulletproof). I got the Rocky Star with the blue dial and the blue seems to be much darker in person (compared to the online photo). Another thing you can't tell from the online picture is the depth this watch has -- the circle portion of the face is actually recessed, as the square outer edges slope down to the circular face. The circular face also has a different texture than the other parts of the dial, adding more dimensions to the look. The face is "busy", with the chrono dials and tachymeter, but also "clean" due to the absence of numerals. I'm not an expert on watches, but with this price tag you really do get a lot of watch for the money. The wristband is also unique and attractive -- I like how the polished, raised grooves in the center of the band are reflected in the crowns on the side. Keep in mind it's big and fairly heavy, so if your wrist is small, or you don't like heavy watches, this may not be for you. Regardless, you really do feel like you're wearing a fine timepiece when it's on your wrist. This is also my first purchase on overstock.com and it could not have gone smoother. The shipping was cheap and it arrived in 5 days.
