The ring was a Christmas gift for my son, and when I got in a few days after I ordered it, I was worried that it was not going to look like the picture, but I was so shocked when it looked 10 times BETTER. The rings were both beautiful when I opened the box, but within hours each of them did the exact same thing, and that is they started to discolor around the entire band of the ring. The silver just lost it's color and started to tarnish and get very flat and various colors appeared on the silver banding. Was supposed to be sterling silver, and a quality sterling does not discolor as both of them did. The replacement ring did exactly the same thing. It was a present for my grandson's 13th birthday, and I am disappointed and embarassed.
