I originally bought the white pearl necklace and have just ordered the black necklace. Looking at some of the other reviews, yes the clasp is chunky, but I have received compliments on the clasp alone. The pearls themselves are very nice and the whole necklace is very classy. These pearls can be dressed up or down depending on what you wear them with. An excellent buy considering the price.

These are really lovely pearls. I love the slight imperfections and irregular shapes of these baroque pearls - that is what makes this necklace so unique. I bought the same necklace in black, also a beauty - and great price! I could never find a necklace of this quality for this price.

the pearls are very elegent. you can wear this on a casual day or for a formal night. works both ways. i've had alot of compliments, and still getting more. the only downfall is the poor workmanship of the crystal ball, it looks cheap if you look very closely. but at a distance, it'll just shine.. and the defects are no longer noticeable. all in all, a wonderful piece for a very good price.

The pearls are beautiful . . . but basic. I didn't realize the cool clasp had to be worn in the back. It looks silly to wear on the side as show in the picture since it totally looks like a clasp. I was hoping for a funky element but it's a great, basic pearl necklace.

Product seems to be as advertised. My problem is with the shipping and handling. It was shipped by Fed Ex. arrived late afternoon and may not have been here, very light packageing and no real protection for the product and the envelope was ripped with a hole in one end capable of letting product out. No box to protect, no bubble wrap, a POOR rating on shipping.

for the price exactly what i expected pearls are fine- clasp is cheap looking but workable from a distance both pearls and clasp very attractive happy with purchase

My honey bought these for me for Christmas and they are very pretty on. The pearls themselves are really imperfect but that's not noticeable unless someone is really looking at you up close. So in my opinion they are perfect for everyday "glamour" at the office, which is just what I wanted : ) the clasp is also very pretty, but would not be mistaken for real diamonds......very pretty costume sparkle.

I bought four of these as bridesmaids' gifts and they are spectacular! It was exactly what I wanted, but with a huge bonus wow factor!

I wore these pearls to an event last week and they caused quite a stir.... i love the clasp it is rhinestone-ish and can be placed in any position, in the front or side .I wore them with the clasp on the side just lovely and my wallet likes them too

Wonderful set of pearls and the clasp works well easy to use not like others that look like this that I have tried. I would have given it 5 stars but wished it was slightly longer in length.

I wore these to my son's wedding with an ivory victorian-style dress. They are simply beautiful and look like I paid A LOT for them. The clasp is lovely, too.

I bought this pearl necklace a few months ago (at 10% off too! yay), and regularly wear it to work. Received multiple compliments on it, especially on the large size of the pearls. A friend asked me where I got it and I directed her to Overstock.com but looks like the necklace is now out of stock! The necklace looks more expensive than it really is, and the clasp is a gorgeous addition. Don't hesitate on this purchase, it will be a classic in your collection from now on!

Bough this as a Christmas gift for my 20 year old daughter but it was so beautiful and age perfect I couldn't wait to give it to her. She loves it. Pearls are large and color is consistently white but each pearl has a variation in texture which makes this quite contemporary. The clasp screws together for a good close and the necklace arrives in a velvet bag for a great presentation and travel case. Wonderful value, my daughter will get years of enjoyment from this necklace.

For the price, this pearl necklace is unbeatable! The clasp is really lovely. The quality of the pearls is pretty good. Not what I would call top quality, but as long as no one gets in your face to inspect them, they are just perfect to accentuate a classic ensemble.

I bought these pearls for my grandaughters birthday. Thank goodness they came 2 weeks before her big day as they were the worst pearls that I have ever seen,every single pearl was nicked and scratched. They looked like they had been stored in a box with rocks and then scrambled. Happy to say I bought another neckless in time for her birthday.

This is a beautiful pearl necklace! I was all set to purchase another freshwater pearl necklace for a 5 times as much when I ran across this necklace. It arrived today, and I just love it! The pearls are just the right size and weight for me. They have imperfections that make the strand more charming & interesting. The clasp is lovely also, and easy to manipulate. I liked the strand so much that I've purchased the Maddy Emerson black pearls!

If this necklace was just a little longer, it would be perfect. I LOVE the blue/black strand I purchased, so I ordered the white as well. The color goes perfectly with my ivory wedding dress. I knew it would be a choker style, but the blue strand is a bit longer. I am still wearing it for sure! I love the chunky style and the clasp is just the right amount of bling. Now if the blue strand would just get re-stocked so I could order them for my bridesmaids, I would be in heaven.
