This is my second (and now my favorite) Luminox. The healthy 44mm diameter case is the perfect size... it fits in with the larger style of watches currently in fashion, but not too ridiculously large or cumbersome. Upon odering, I had consercens about the carbon polymer bezel, but was presently suprised on how practical it is. The poly bezel has a good fit, one click per second and really lightens the watch. Combine the light weight with the flexible, soft ruber strap and this watch is very comfotable to wear. The lumination is more than adequate for viewing in any lighting. The slate-blue and yellow colors are different than the typical tritium tubes, which is another reason this gets a big thumbs up. After wearing it for a couple weeks, it has kept great time and stood up to occasional bumps without any visual damage or scratches.
This particular luminox watch comes with glitches. After having it for about 5 months the hands quit moving. I took it to a jeweler who said this type always has the same problems. the clock hands 'somehow' get bent. After a few seconds of tinkering with the hands and rebending them, it worked again. But I'm not sure if or when it'll happen again...
