This a very dainty and pretty watch and the reason I ordered real gold was due to the fact that "GOLDTONE" watches always rub off and lose their color. I really like it but it is small. I wear another mesh bracelet next to it and it compliments the watch. All in all a nice watch for the money!

Nice watch. Good Value for the price. Catch is a little flimsy but the watch is very petite so it would not look right with a bulky closure.

I ordered two of these. One was perfect. The other one had clearly been returned by someone else (arrived in a presentation box that had been taped together) and was not the same quality as the first. I think this accounts for some of the discrepancies in the reviews. The "perfect" watch had an ivory mother of pearl face. The bad watch had a gold-toned watch face. The bad watch had a defective latch which someone had tried to repair (signs of a sloppy soldering job). I think it is pretty much "hit or miss" as to which version you'll receive. I'd avoid this watch if you don't want to waste time/money on exchanges. Otherwise, this is a lovely, dainty watch which is perfect for a smaller wrist.
The watch came with back off and not working.Clasp did not hold the watch on wrist and the saftey latch was bent. A 14k gold watch at this price seemed to good to be true. It was flimsy and unimpressive. I took watch to a my jeweler who said he could not repair the watch. He asked what I paid , I told him close to $400. He said it wasn't worth getting a replacement and to send it back.

If i were 5'6 or shorter and didnt care about the time I would love this watch. I really wanted a solid gold watch but I am 6 feet tall and this skinny little watch looks terrible on me and it didnt fit. This is truly a watch for superskinny tall women or a short or petite women. It is lovely, dont get me wrong but upsetting that I couldnt even see the time and it was too tiny for my figure. I am not overweight I am average to toned, but It just didnt look right. Im still looking I want a watch that i can pass on as a family heirloom, what better than a solid gold watch. The price is phenomenal. I do recommend it but not for the big boned or tall.
