I bought this for my boyfriend two Christmas's ago. He loved it... I bought him diamonds before he bought me diamonds. He was flabbergasted. It has worked beautifully, and he wears it with both casual and formal attire. He wears it so often, it gets some abuse. It hasn't scratched at all. He dropped it on a tile floor and the second hand popped off. It still works. He hasn't yet brought it to a repair shop, and insists on wearing it even with the broken second hand. Hopefully he will bring it in soon for repair. I worried that buying a watch as a gift would be materialistic and non-sentimental. I couldn't have been more wrong. He ended up buying me a matching watch (different watch maker, similar band and design with ring of diamonds around the face). We love wearing our special gifts to each other. He even notices when I don't wear mine enough- a man who couldn't tell you what color shirt he has on today.
