I purchased two strands of these lapis beads for making bracelets, earrings, etc. The pros are that the drilling holes are smooth and easy for beading wire to pass through and the color is nice.However~the cons: there is no life to these beads, no fire, no light or polish. They are certainly not gem AAA grade stone. But for beading casual stone jewelry they are ok. Don't buy these if you expect lustre and gold flecking...it's just not there.

The item was priced correctly. The grade was probably more like A or B than AAA as listed.

product price is appropriate for item received. The color is good, but expected lighter blue per picture of item shown on Overstock. Nice size. Overall, happy with purchase.
