I am partial to hoop earrings, and I thought this spiral design was very clever. They turned out to be quite a bit smaller than I had anticipated, but they're pretty, nevertheless. While I will wear them from time to time, they are not for every day or to wear 24/7, because they tend to shift position and could work their way out of the ear - and if you twist them in far enough to not worry about them falling out, dangly things such as locks of hair or the chain holding your reading glasses, or the loose knit of a scarf can and will get caught. I got myself stuck to the doily on the back of my easy chair and had a panicky moment before I could extricate myself without tearing my earlobe or getting the earring irrevocably bent out of shape.
I have a silver pair of Tressa earrings that are my absolute favorite, but I wanted a gold pair. These are beautiful, although I still prefer the style of the silver ones. Like some other reviewers have mentioned, they aren't the easiest earrings to put on. It's not a big hassle though. You just have to twist them slightly to open up a big enough space to get your ear lobe through. I love them, and would definitely recommend them to someone wanting a delicate pair of gold earrings that are a little different.
