A screw-down crown (knob) creates a water-resistant seal. To unscrew the crown, turn counter-clockwise and pull/push into position to set time, date, and other functions. To close the crown, press it against the case and turn clockwise.

Great looking watch for the money
I really love the look of this watch. I have received several compliments on it from strangers and I've only had it for a couple weeks. Two of my co-workers are buying the same watch as gifts for family members after seeing mine. Overall, it's a very good watch for the price.
