I compared this watch to a Rolex Submariner. Here are the pros and cons. Pros-Invicta is water resistant 200m-until about 5yrs ago Rolex was the same-now 300m. Luminescence is good on all markers and hands. Smooth auto movement. Great value compared to the $7,000 to get the Rolex version. Cons- As one reviewer wrote ,the face and bezel are much more purple than blue. Band has a "hollow" feel and sound. You can hear the watch when you shake it. Sounds cheap as well. The band is only plated on the top side. The under-side is steel. The bezel on mine is stiff and does not rotate smoothly. Markers are smaller than Rolex and the cyclops window is about 1.75x magnification whereas Rolex is 2.5x. I would compare the Invicta to a Tag Heuer (which makes a very similar model at over $1,000 and you still get gold plating) With a Rolex you are buying the gold and obviously the more expensive motor.-But is that worth the difference in price? The Invicta will get you lots of looks and compliments. I recommend wearing it slighly snug or the "hollowness" of the band will bother you.

I was gifted this watch, and initially loved it as it has the classic look of the Rolex Diver, and is priced realistically. Also, I am an avid diver. Wore it first dive trip after receiving it. The bezel began to almost immediately 'fall apart', shedding pieces from around the dial. This was not comely. Retuning from the trip, I discovered the warranty had just expired! The watch IS beautiful (at least initially) and keeps excellent time. I did not strike the watch in any way, and the corrosion (or whatever) of the bezel was not related inadequate care. The watch was thoroughly rinsed immediately on surfacing from each dive (submersed). I would recommend this watch, but only for those who want to LOOK like divers.Too bad!

This watch was wonderful until yesterday. I've had it for two months and really enjoyed it and was very happy with it. But yesterday the bezel fell off for no known reason. I didn't hit the watch , catch it on anything, etc. My friend found it on the boat dock and a different part was floating in the water. I can't put the bezel back on, it looks like something is missing. I bought it for snorkeling and diving, which I'll be doing in a couple of weeks. Now the watch is broken and I have to deal with the warrenty. By reading the warrenty information I can't expect it back in time for my trip and I'll have to send it back with a $20 money order to pay for their poor workmanship. Until yesterday I would have given it very high ratings.

I think the value of the watch and with the appearence, makes this watch the best buy for a luxury watch.

This was a great bargain. I bought it for my husband and he loves it.

I liked the looks of the watch and the reviews. I was not disappointed. Awesome looks, weight and feel and grabs lots of compliments. My only dismay is 10 days later the price was dropped.

The watch looks about the same as the pic. Second hand has a nice sweep movement similiar to a Rolex. The watch does impersonate a Rolex from afar with the styling and bubble window. Friends have taken a second look to confirm just how could I afford a new Rolex. Have worn for a month now and have not noticed any visable signs of wear and tear and have acccidentally banged against objects. I have not noticed that the watch has stopped since I do take it off at the end of the day. The test for me will be the wear/tear in a year after use. My experience with overstock watches is you get just about what you pay for. Past 30 dollar watches lose their luster and gold platting wears off. So for now, worth to me about $100. Just about everyone will think you have a Rolex until they look closer...if that means anything to you. I just liked the blue/gold styling.

Watch works well, and looks great. Someone offered to trade their Rolex Presidential for this watch, until I pointed out it is not a Rolex. It's a great value for the money.

The watch looks great and fits fine. The downside is that if it is not being worn it stops working and needs to be adjusted everytime it is put back on.

This is a great watch when you ware it. You will need to reset the time and date if you don't ware it. It is automatic, but has no battery back up.

I really like this watch. It is accurate, looks great, and it doesn't need constant winding. A stranger approached me at the golf course and told me that he liked my "Rolex Submariner"! It is impressive looking!

This watch was a graduation gift for my son. He loves the colors and appearance of the watch. We were also able to test the depth/diving attricbutes of the watch and it came through with flying colors!

Lots of compliments on the watch from people at work (my customers and friends), especially from a friend at work, so we bought another to give to the friend (who is retiring). A little worried because of the stories about the bezel falling off, but so far so good. I got the old style bezel that looks more like a Rolex, and it is harder to get a grip on it and spin it than the new style coin edge Seiko - like bezel, which is on my friend's watch.

Overall this is a nice looking watch, fairly heavy and a good size. It has trouble keeping time for more than 24 hours. The most dissapointing thing for me was that the gold plating is rubbing off on the band only after a month or so. Other than that its a nice watch and for the money I would recommend it.

This Invicta keeps time well enough. It tooks terrific out of the box. But it feels flimsy and cheap. I had an Invicta a while ago whose bezel just popped off for no apparent reason, but I believe in second chances. Alas, it happened again. Aame symptom, different model. Invicta's customer service, moreover, leaves much to be desired. My emails elicited no response. The watch is now at the bottom of my sock drawer. I can still wear the watch without the bezel, but its appeal is not the same at all. I'll buy Jacques Lemans or Stuhrling Original if I want a sturdy and attractive timepiece.

As a dive instructor on a trip to Florida, I bought this watch many years ago in traditional black; I wanted something different so I just bought a blue face edition; both great watches; the original black face still runs after 20 years without service even though the auto wind function is not 100%
