A screw-down crown (knob) creates a water-resistant seal. To unscrew the crown, turn counter-clockwise and pull/push into position to set time, date, and other functions. To close the crown, press it against the case and turn clockwise.

    I bought this for my husband for Christmas - to match our wedding rings - it is a perfect match! He is very happy with it!- though he has not really worn it yet. He has other Invicta watches so he feels confident of the quality. He did notice that it is hard to read the time and his eyes couldn't make out what the "small thing by the four is" - = the date!! Too small for growing old eyes - but very few watches are made for us aging generation! Watch Makers should take note!!
