This is a big, bold, beautiful Diver Automatic watch. I hadn't purchased an Invicta before and regret never purchasing one before this one (Grand Diver). The craftmanship is superb (both the watch itself and the bracelet). I saw other reviews which were negative about the bracelet and deployment clasp and I strongly disagree. I own other watches and this my new workhorse and favorite. I look forward to purchasing another Invicta or two in the future.
I have the green Grand Diver and was so pleased I bought them for all my nephews in the military.I have never had a watch that I got so many comments on! It is large and dynamic. I have large arms and I stll had to have some links removed.I did a lot of background checking into Invicta and it seems like a good company based out of Florida. They use parts from around the world but headquartered here in the good old USA. My best way to evaluate the watch- would I buy another one- YES!
A fantastic watch at 5x the price. I am an Omega owner and this watch is comparable in features and function. It is a BIG HEAVY watch...not recommended for those with smaller wrists. For a truly custom fit, be prepared to remove links since the band will accomodate a 9.5" diameter wrist easily. The watch keeps perfect time and is overall a quality piece...you will not be disappointed.
I would ignore the last review. I have had mine for over two careless (it is really banged up) years and it couldnt be a better watch. I have a Hamilton jazz master with a comparable swiss movement (ETA - 2321 or something like that) that was well over three times the price of the GD and the time is very similar however the Miyota movement actually has a stronger reserve.
Great looking watch for the money. The only draw back dosn't keep accurate time to fast, you need to adjust the watch to the right time once a week
