my girlfriend wore it for about a year and a half. never taking it off 24/7. color did not fade away, but the chain eventually broke.

I am only adding to this review because you can never tell what the back of these things look like. This one has a pretty woven gold pattern supporting the back giving a very finished look. The key swings freely and you can place where you want it. Its a gem for a teen ager or young woman.

the sterling silver heart necklace is so cute! its classy not to flashy. when mailing it to a diffrent address we should be able to leave a little note to tell the recipient who its from. but overall a great product! Thanks Overstock! =) ashley

This necklace was attractive and I was pleased when I received it. It looked real and I enjoyed wearing it; however, after wearing it several times, I noticed that it doesn't appear to have maintained the luster. I guess it was ok for the money and if you want jewelry to look real, you need to buy real!

The pendant was beautiful and well manufactured. The chain was very flimsy, but held up under repeated use. The luster was retained after use. I would highly recommend this product to anyone.

I liked mine so much, I ordered one several months later for my best friend's birthday -- she can afford the good stuff and was still thrilled with this very reasonably-priced silver with gold over lay piece. I wear mine a lot. Goes with everything for work and casual evening out...mine is silver and the one I bought for my friend is gold. Both nice. If you like hearts, get one!

I liked the product very much and it was well recieved by the recipient. The suggestion that I would have is using a better chain. The one that came seem like it would break easily and there was a chink in it that would not smooth out.

I got this piece a year ago.I wear it all the time and I get compliments on it.It is still sparkly and the gold has not faded.Definately worth the money !!great buy! the only negative is the chain it comes on,that was very cheap in quality but i put it on a sturdier chain and it is one of my favorite pieces of jewelery to wear.

This was more beautiful when I recieved it. I actually got yellow gold as a gift and silver for myself, both go with everything. It really looks like it cost much more. I love it. My mom loved her so much, she orderd the matching ring.

very misleading,it's not gold at all.the pic makes the neckalace appear to be bigger than it is,very small.im dissapionted.i don't think i'll buy on this website for jewerly anymore.

I ordered one of this beautiful heart/key pendat for one of my grad-daughters. For the order I ordered diffrent thing. But I am sure, that she would want the same, for that reason I am ordering another one today. It is goegeous looking, looks very expensive. Beautiful piece of workmanship!
