Women's watch bands can be sized to fit 6.5-inch to 7.5-inch wrists.
This watch has a screw-down crown (knob) for setting the time. Screw-down crowns create a stronger seal against the case than a push-and-pull knob, giving the watch a greater water resistance factor. To unscrew the crown, grasp the knob and turn it counter-clockwise (towards you) a number of times until it releases. Then pull or push the crown into position to set the time, date, and other functions. To close the crown, press it against the case while turning in a clockwise direction.

beautiful but...
This watch is stunning, it is nicer than can be seen on the photo. It looks like a high quality watch, the time is easy to read, it is shiny (because of the silver and ceramic, more than the crystals) but not too flashy. I had been looking for a good watch with black mother of pearl so I'm happy I found this one. However, there are some negatives: It is quite heavy, so it tends to "slide" around on my wrist and I find I'm constantly moving it back. Also, I don't think the band is going to last very long. I get the impression it'll crack, tear or wear out way before I get tired of the watch. The other problem is that the "tabs" that secure the band also move a lot, so I often have to fix those too or the band is just flapping around and the watch may loosen up (maybe it has to do with the watch moving around my wrist so much). I don't mind the heaviness of the watch that much, but the issues with the band do bother me. I guess a metal band would make the watch even heavier, but I wish that had been an option - it would then be my favorite watch!
