I just received this necklace and love it! Excellent deal. The amethyst is a bit darker than the picture and the clasp could be a bit more high quality, but overall, this is a great deal for the price. It will work with just about anything in my wardrobe.

The necklace is beautiful. It's a fair bit darker than the picture - imagine a deeper purple rather than the bright purple depicted in the picture. Also, the stones are bigger than the picture conveys - the necklace is a bit chunkier than anticipated. If you're after something small and delicate, this is not for you. I love amethysts and wanted a short, simple necklace. This looked more like the strings of beads children put together. I was totally disappointed.I would like to say that Overstock handled my return expeditiously and with courtesy.

I received this necklace today and was pleased with the purchase. It was ordered to be worn with colors to match purple and something different than what you see in the local stores. Now for the earrings to match it and will be looking in Overstock for them.

This necklace is gorgeous. The stones are somewhat darker than pictured but the color of amethyst still remains true. I am very satisfied with its beauty and will shop for other necklaces of similar style. Packaging could have been a little nicer for gift giving purposes., but for personal use the "O" bag serves the purpose.

Attractive but not so great that it's ready for the "deal hall of fame." Overstock amazes with its inflated "retail prices," which is too bad because the necklace is likely worth what they are charging to most of us. As already noted, stones are much darker than pictured, of varying sizes, and workmanship (Thailand) seems at least adequate to preserve wear. I see it for more of a casual look but that may be subjective. Very fast shipping but low rent packaging in clear glassine envelope with no box.

I Purched this necklace, and I have not worn it yet. I'm not a huge fan of purple, but I love the necklace. When I wear an outfit where the necklace will accent the outfit, I really think it will be a hit. Nice quality.
