These leverbacks are just what I needed for a pair of earrings I bought in Italy that came with such thin wires, that they broke immediately. Finally, with these interchangeable leverbacks, I can wear my earrings again. The fact that there are two pairs makes them an outstanding choice.

I bought these leverbacks to replace some very fragile wires that would not stay closed on a previously purchased pair of earrings. They look great, and I'm now confident that my earrings will remain in place and I won't lose them.

these are a great price for what they are. i can't tell about durability as i just got these a few weeks ago, but i've worn them with no reaction - i've gotten more allergic over the years to metals and can tell within 24hours if something is happening. but these are 'goldfill' so i don't know.... this is my first experience with these 'european' style leverbacks. they are much more secure without alot of fuss, but i've pinched my earlobe a few times because the leverback snapped shut before i had my earlobe in position. not a big deal, but if you've got clumsy (or arthritic as someone else mentioned) fingers, they are a little more work to negotiatiate than the standard loops (but you are not going to lose one once they are in)!!!!

Not for women with arthritic fingers. I had to send them back.

i love these earrings! i now buy charms from overstock to change them all the time. :) the only minor complaint i have is that the opening to hold charms is a bit narrow sometimes for the charms that are on overstock, and overstock doesn't give measurements of the earrings' capacity to hold charms, nor the width of the different charms they sell. oh well...

The 14k gold-filled leverbacks are exactly what I was looking for to add various dangles to switch out on. These are replacements for the broken earwires to several earrings that I have. Now I can enjoy wearing those earrings again.

These goldfill interchangeable earring leverbacks are gold that does not wear off, and is designed to fit O rings with any type of beads, charms. I highly recommend them. They are wonderful. They sell out very quickly.

I am so glad I purchased these! I am allergic to nickel so I need pure metals in my ears or truly hypoallergenic metals. I have replaced some of my old (hardly ever worn) earrings with these and I have not had a reaction. I am very pleased with my purchase.

My skin reacts to anything that's not real gold or sterling silver, but I am able to wear most gold-fill. Leverbacks are the only gold-fill item that I have a reaction to and it's not just the ones they sell at overstock.com. There is a part of the leverback mechanism that turns me green, and after I've worn them a few times the top edge of the part that goes through my ear starts turning colors and irritating me. These are not sub-quality in comparison to what they sell at jewelry supply stores, and overstock.com is definitely the most cost effective place to buy these. They're just not any better than what I've seen other places.

These lever backs are perfect for everyday and evening wear. I own true gold lever backs but none come close to the weight of these. They also look like solid gold. I'm thinking of ordering the white gold also. Thanks Overstock!
