Item description of stone size is WRONG
When I read product description, it said the stones in the earrings were 5mm. The stones are 6mm and I found the earrings larger than expected, because of the error in the description. The stones are opaque. Nearly black... well, black (even for a black sapphire). I LOVE the simple setting that shows off the stone. These stones are not pretty enough to be show off. Going back. Sorry!

Lovely earrings
I bought this pair of earrings together with the matching ring and they look beautiful together. My birthstone is sapphire and I like the shade of the stones being midnight blue. Moreover, the fact that the sterling silver has rhodium plating makes the midnight blue stones stand out. I found them a little bit heavy at first but I eventually got used to it. The first time I wore them to the office, I received numerous compliments from my office-mates. They would not believe that I got these earrings on-line and they were further surprised at the price I paid for it. They found them so beautiful that they kept on asking me where I bought the earrings.The workmanship is very good, delivery was fast and I think I will be searching for more jewelry from overstock.com.

Nice pair of earrings
I bought these earrings for gifting and couldn't be more pleased. They are well made, pretty, and match the ring of the same design perfectly, a gift to my niece earlier in the year. She was hopping up and down and squeeling when she opened these ( I think that's two thumbs up in teen-speak). So, much thanks to O, I'm Super Auntie again!

Sapphires are special!
A beautiful pair of earrings! I have small ears and found the earrings I ordered to be a little bit larger and heavier than I had anticipated.....However I think they will be alright in the long run. I had several positive comments about them from my friends.
