I thought the piece was pretty and liked the star design in the photo. The piece is nicer than I expected. I love the color (although I am sure that varies some) but it is a nice pinkish red. I also like the length. The charm sits on a nice space on my neck slightly below the clavicle. I was surprised I didn't get more comments on it as I think it is more distinctive than other pieces people mention, but I wear it for me more than others. I found myself wearing it for days at a time. I usually wear a different necklace every day, but that one is so much fun I wear it far more than others... I just have to find enough red and pink clothes to match it with.

I was happy that my daughter liked this necklace, as it does not look terribly impressive in the box. But it is of good quality, and looks great on her; the color seems to brighten against her skintone. It was nice to find a star design, as opposed to the great number of heart shaped pendants.

This was bought for my niece, and she was happy - she loves pink and ruby is her birthstone, so that's why I picked this. It really is dark pink, just as pictured. The picture does it justice, but I did hope the chain would look more silvery since it's sterling. If I had had time before the gift, I would have purchased a separate, more silvery chain for it.

I would highly reccoment this pendant to anyone, let alone those of us who are July babies. I just got this pendant today and I am already wearing it. It exceeded my expectations. It is bright and good color in the rubies I have been looking for something like this for a long time and you have certainly met and exceeded my expectations.
