Glitzy Rocks Sterling Silver Garnet Bracelet

I bought this bracelet as a gift for my sister in law last Christmas and I honestly did not want to give it to her! It is so pretty and it is my birthstone too, so I have wanted one ever since. I finally broke down and ordered myself one and I am so glad I did. The garnets in it are so beautiful. Its a very unique piece to add to your collection.

This bracelet was a bit of a let down. Workmanship was just OK. It required adjustments to the clasp and safety latch to work properly. Garnets were a bit dark looking even in good light and also when lit from behind. On the plus side... the bracelet is both casual and classy enough to go with about any outfit.

I bought this as a gift for my mother-in-law to wear on my wedding day with her red dress. The garnets are cleanly cut, very clear and catch the light beautifully because of the open setting. The clasp is not great - it sticks easily and so is not very easy to open again once it is closed. The size of the stones is a little larger for a tennis bracelet, but matches the MOG's personality perfectly. She absolutely loved it!

The garnet braclet I ordered on line arrived early and looked great. The clasp was loose however and I had to repair it. It has a friction type clasp and needed to be tightened. The garnets are dark and the silver is nicely worked. This is not fine jewelry, thus the price, but looks very good. I bought it as a gift for my 18 year old daughter who loved it.
