I must say I was dissappointed, the stone was very very light in color, which i would have been OK with, however it was cloudy, no sparkle, no shine. I will wear them I guess, but not for a dressy occasion.

Every time I wear these earrings, I get compliments. They are just big enough to be noticed without being overwhelming. They are very flattering on the ear and are high in quality. Just beautiful!

Bought these for my mother she loved them and will be wearing them to my daughters wedding. Color is lighter than in picture but they are still very good quality for the price.

the lavender color is so very pale, was very disappointed. It was almost clear, not anywhere near the color shown in the ad.

Amethyst is my birthstone. I had never heard of the Rose de France before, but when I saw these earrings they appeared to be a lighter shade of purple w/a nice sparkle to them. I also like the pattern on the front of the lever back clasps. It reminded me of the look of marcesite, the way light is reflected off of the stones. When the earrings arrived I discovered that the stones were very pale, almost colorless, not at all like the picture on the web site. But what really bothered me was the clasps. They did not reflect light at all. They just looked cheap. I was really surprised because everything else I've ordered from overstock.com has been first rate. So, for this item, I am left disappointed.

I love the setting and the look of this pair of earrings.The back and catch are such that they will not fall out of your ears. Stones secure and uniform in color. Very light lavender color. but that was what I was looking for. I am very happy with these earrings.

I ordered these for myself. They are so much nicer in person. The color is just lovely. The earrings are not "light" or "cheap"....they are pretty heavy....yet very comfortable. The lever back is very good and holds tight. I am going to order a pair for my Mom's birthday!
