The earing were too big and bulky. They were to heavy which irritated my ears.

I got these to go with some existing Ebony Sapphire Jewelry I had, and they match perfectly. They do have a hint of blue to them (so do my other ebony sapphires) and I like that because they basically look fine with Navy or Black. They are not too big, but they are substantial and they have a lovely detail in the back of the hoop that isn't in the photo, but I really like it. It is basically just a small open design in the silver that gives it some extra detail. I was very pleased with this purchase - haven't taken them off since I got them last week!

I bought the earrings to match a similar bracelet and it matches perfectly! I think the earrings are great, the only thing is that they're a little bit heavy so they pull on the ear a bit and you can see a little of the post that goes through your ear hole instead of being flush up against your lobe (that's the only downside).

These are deep dark blue sapphires that sparkle beautifully. Well worth the price. Have the matching bracelet. What a great find.

I purchased these earings to wear with a navy suit and I think that they will add some uniqueness that the drab suit lacks. As mentioned by an earlier reviewer, there is some filigree design on the back of the hoops that is not shown in the pictures. The stones are as dark as they appear in the picture and are uniform in color. This is not a dainty pair of earings but I have not found them to be too heavy.

i was thrilled that the earrings arrived quick, but to my dismay, they were too big for me. I'm very petite, and the earrings were heavy. I inspected the stones and one of them was squished and scratched. I knew if I wore them eventually that stone would fall off. I had to return them.

I love the earings, since the minute I saw them on overstock. The price is good considering it has very good workmanship, you can't see from the pictures but the back of the hoops have a cute design. They are maybe slightly on the heavy side but not too much. They look great for work, or going out.

I bought these earrings as a gift and was very pleased. One thing you can't see in the picture is the workmanship in the back--after the stones stop, the silver has sort of a filagree pattern that looks very pretty and gives the earrings a more refined look than I was expecting. The stones are a dark navy--I don't think most people would know they were sapphires without being told, but for the price I think they're probably the best you can get. My mother liked them.

I received the earrings and they are beautiful. I bought them to give as a Christmas gift but I want to keep them for myself. So, I will have to buy another pair. You cannot go wrong buying them.
