Peridot is my son's birthstone. I like to wear peridot, but I generally avoid the pricey pieces. These earrings have the high quality appearance that I appreciate, but are reasonably priced. The size and weight are visible, but comfortable to wear all day without strain on my ear lobe.

I got them because they were a good price, rated well, and my daughter's birthstone, for an extra X-mas present. I like good sparkle, but they really are great, and she likes them very much. I think my not being in love with them is my own fault, as I tend to like things in Gold more, but for this price, wouldn't have been able to.
