These lab-created opals are just beautiful! The blue-green are my favorites--they are a rich color reminiscent of the ocean on a hot summer day! Don't be discouraged by the photos--the colors really POP in person. These are nice to keep for yourself or to split up and give as gifts!! I highly recommend!!

I love these earrings - however, as stated above, BEWARE if you want the color BLUE to be as shown. I ordered two sets as gifts, one set was exactly as shown and in the other, the BLUE opals were not blue, but instead, nearly white with greenish hue, pretty, but not BLUE. Because of price and return policy of jewelry, not cost effective to return. I wanted the blue, but am afraid to order a third set in case I don't get the blue again. I would rate the first set EXCELLENT, but the second set AVERAGE, since only 2/3rd of earrings were as shown. Therefore, the "GOOD" rating is the average. I attempted to talk to customer service about specifying that future order would contain a pair of blue opal, but the person I spoke to said this was not possible.

purchased these for my grandaughter (12)..........she loved them (opal is her birthstone). Would have preferred that the back stems were a little shorter, but they work!

these are fairly small, but excellent color makes them stand out. too bad the setting is too loose

These are better than your average quality earings, but definitely not high end. True to the nature of opals, they have an intense depth of color which almost looks illiminated from within. I was most disapointed in the cheap packaging that isn't nice for gift giving, they come in individual ziploc bags that say made in Thailand all in a cheap white vinyl bag with a double ribbon drawstring closure.

I ordered two sets of these earrings and when they arrived the color differences between them was astonishing. One set was deep, rich colors, the other set was washed out almost to the point that all six earrings looked to be the same color. I would've sent them back but i just didn't want to be bothered. Very unhappy and would not recommend these.

The earrings are nice sized, not too big and not too small and they are solid, just not happy with the colors. The picture made them look more vibrant than they actually were. Some reviews said that the color was better than the picture which I have to disagree. The Opal's were really dull. Other than that I would say an "okay" purchase.
