The necklace came and looked quite beautiful. The stone was not very purple though. However, after wearing the necklace for a short time, the gold has come off the chain and pendant and it now looks like a cheap rummage sale buy. I am very disappointed and would never recommend this product unless the person just wishes to put it on the shelf to look at it and not actually wear it.

I ordered this for my daughter, who has a February birthday. The necklace is very pretty, and actually was larger than I'd expected. I think she will like it. I am very familiar with Black Hills Gold, and I believe the necklace is not a "bona fide" BHG product, but it is pretty, looks like BHG, and is well worth the price I paid for it.

This necklace is such a great buy. I was skeptical before purchasing, but am so glad I took a chance with it. Just wish it wasn't mailed in a zip lock baggie. Kind of cheapens the necklace. Overall, it's a good buy.
