Barely purple for an amthyst
Stones are very light. Looked darker in photo. Not true amethyst color.

I have 4 peircings in each ear, so I bought 2 sapphires and 2 amethysts. They look great. I wear sapphire and amethyst jewelry combination so these went together prefectly. The earrings are comfortable and look nice together. They hang well. Highly recommend.

hoops are smaller as I expected as dimensions described in description - however, stones are of poor quality and not as shown because you cannot even see any amythest color- all looks like very small off color/grayish glass.
