plato2 from North Carolina, Rating:5.0I bought my first Gevril First Generation watch with fascination but trepidation. I liked the photos I saw and was astonished at the price. It seemed too good to be true. I have high standards for watches, but am in no way a watch snob, owning and enjoying a wide range including Patek, Breguet, Muller, Jaeger Le Coultre, Ebel, Baume, Longines, Nomos, Fortis, and others I enjoy. When this watch arrived, I was knocked out by the unexpected beauty of the dial, and many other features, including the lugs and the attractive and comfortable strap. Buy this watch! A very satisfied customer. May Gevril last forever!

Anonymous from Hickory Hills, Illinois, Rating:5.0Gevril is a fine Swiss watch relatively unknown in the US. Their movements are ETA made, common but reliable. The face of the First Generation is beautiful and the band and case nicely made. The packaging the watch comes in is really nice. The wood case can be used as a jewelry box. The watch is a great buy.

414anne from Milwaukee, WI, Rating:5.0I just received this watch today and am so lucky to have done so. Those who are watch experts understand the desirability of this brand, let alone this model. To purchase this watch at this price is a unique opportunity; don't pass it up! Also note that the presentation case is wood and for those who are interested, the movement is an ETA 2824-2. If intended as a gift, the recipient will be stunned!
