I never thought twice about spent $75 to $100 every couple of years for a new watch. Committed to Fossil watches only. They worked double time as the hottest trend with the added bonus of being a “timeless" accessory. In my opinion, wearing something everyday for a year or two will inevitably become part of your identity. I always look to a man's watch to "tell" me something significant about him. For example, I adore when a man carries a pocket watch, as I always find these men most often to be hopeless romantics. Honest and true gentlemen with dreams of a simple life with a woman to love and adore! Fossil watches always said strength and beauty that are timeless. Which is what every woman strives to be, right? So spending the money was nothing!
Things changed after lost my job and when money got really tight; Thank goodness those beauties held their value, because I had to sell them. After a year without a watch (because I couldn't bear to wear a cheap one) I couldn't take it anymore! I had to know what time it was without lugging my cell phone everywhere!! In the past I never had to compromise, I just bought what I wanted! So it was hard when I couldn't find one affordable watch that could catch my eye, make the statement I wanted, and cost less than $25... I couldn't help but drool when I saw this beautiful white ceramic style that said everything! Including: "I spent $200 of my unemployment check on this watch." loll But I couldn't stop obsessing over it. So I looked and looked for something similar without the price. Soon I realized there were tons of white watches to choose from, only they were ALL PLASTIC! After 9 hours (NO LIE) of reading descriptions about watches made of silicone, I was about to give up. Then I saw this model at overstock that described a different material. I went further, researching "resin" quite a bit. Finally exhausted, I ordered to closest thing in existence, despite reading several negative reviews. I just had to see for myself despite being so convinced it would be crap, that I bought a "runner up" bracelet watch as a "back-up". You can imagine my surprise when I opened the package the very next day to find a pristine glowing white metal linked "stunner"!!! A total steal at $**** bucks and I can't even pass it off as a fake unless someone is familiar with Geneva! Geneva is forever my brand because it does and says it all at a price anyone can afford!
