This was a gift purchase for a friend living in Lexington, KY, definitely "horse Country." When I received it, I initially thought it was a little "chunkier" than perhaps what I'd like. However, it's an attractive, substantial piece of costume jewelry and cuff watches do tend to resemble bracelets so I went with it. My thank you note was sprinkled with the phrases "such a lovely gift," "you've made my day" and "I will think of you each time I wear this adorable watch."
