These are nice enough beads but to do a necklace justice I think you would need to order 4-6 or more strands, depending on the look you want to achieve. Being new to beading I have a hard time visulizing sizes without seeing them. These beads are smaller than I realized. The strand I received has beads that measure 1/2" in length and 1/4" wide. The beads themselves are nice but the colors might be better and with more strands hopefully there would be more choices in colors. Mine are heavy in odd shades of greens. I'd say they fine to buy just consider getting more than one strand.

Beads have a nice sheen. Smaller than they appear in the picture. They make a nice necklace, and i'm reordering.
