Bought this watch for a friends birthday (older gentleman). He was totally overwhelmed, and could only keep saying "this must have cost you a fortune". I asked him what he liked about it and he said he loved the style, was big enough to see the numbers without using his glasses, but it isn't heavy or bulky. The thought of getting him another sweater just didn't cut it. Thank you.
This is a perfectly fine watch. The only caveats I will offer are that (1) the case is slightly thicker than some might find comfortable (especially if you wear dress shirts with the cuffs buttoned!), and (2) the luminous hands aren't luminous for long. Their glow fades very quickly once the lights go out.
Fits my need for a weekend, knock-around watch. It's handsome and definitley a man's watch. I've had it about a month and so far it's kept perfect time, not prone to get scratched when I bang it against things and it's been reliable. Durability will take longer to determine.
My shipment finally arrived and I have to say that it is a very attractive watch. Good size, easy to read the time AND date. The only drawback was that it is not running - yes, I assume the battery is dead. There were no instructions in the box so I am not sure if there is a "trick" to start the watch. Made sure he stem was in completely - no luck.
