As I think one other reviewer mentioned, the watch is heavy. I happen to like the heft, and it didn't take me long to acclimate to it.
The detailing is impressive. There are actual screws in the clasp, the crystal is concave and adds depth of field to the watch face, which itself is a work of high craftsmanship. On my thin wrist at least, this watch doesn't look gaudy. I think the overall effect is one of quality rather than showiness.
There's an actual watchworks inside the case, which will strike many would-be purchasers as a novelty. (The ESQ is powered by a battery, though.) I attribute the flawless accuracy of this watch to its Swiss mechanism.
Although I won't have any use for the chronographic features, for me the extra dials enhance the watch face.
Gold plate must be a vexed question these days, given the price of gold -- another reviewer described this watch as looking like it was plated in "rose gold," the implication being perhaps that the plating was inferior?...
- How did the image on site compare with the actual product? The appearance of the actual watch did not disappoint
- How accurate was the sizing? Accurate
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. The ESQ is a quality watch, and Swiss designed if not entirely Swiss made
