All ESQ watches (made by Movado) are well made with good swiss movement, look great, and seem sturdy. This one is no exception, but be aware that this watch is heavy and as a result, I find myself not wanting to wear it. That is the only reason I gave it only 3 stars. I like this watch for outdoor hiking and such, because if you fall down a ravine or get mauled by a bear or a boulder lands on top of you, this watch will hold up better than you will. Maybe leave it somebody in your will.
