Looks better than it acts
This is a really nice-looking watch, but (as several other reviewers had noted, and I ignored) the band is poorly designed. If your wrist is exactly the right size you won't have a problem - but a little bit in either direction and the band either presses into the skin or it's so loose the buckle comes undone. The band is stiff mesh, and the loop that holds the excess band is unattached, so it slides along the length of the band. If not for being loose, you wouldn't be able to get the stiff band into it, but it sometimes slides loose on its own. This watch is grossly overvalued at the supposed original price.

Expensive or Not?
I am very pleased with this watch, I believe it to be an exceptional value. I titled this review the way I did specifically because the first time I wore the watch in Company, I received so many compliments on my expensive watch and comments like your husband is so good to you and picks out the best stuff and spares no expense! A real win.

The watch does not stay closed. It flops open all the time. Otherwise I love it. It is a beautiful looking watch.

poor design
I bought this watch in silver several months ago and wore it again just recently. I was immediately reminded why I disliked it so much as soon as I put it on. The band is so stiff that it slips out of the loop that should secure it and there is no way to keep it pklace. I did not return it because I would have only received a partial refund. I received an email from "Overstock.com" today saying that this was an item I would want to purchase - WRONG!yggep

DuFonte Women's Rhombus Watch
This watch is keeping excellent time so far. I like the watch pretty well, but color is artificially bright gold, so it looks fake, but for the price I can't complain The main problem with this watch is that it is not tight enough for a small wrist. I have 2 1/2 inches of loose band hanging there, and the one small holder does not hold it more than a few minutes when wearing. it.. If the buckle had a back side like a belt buckle it might help some, but it still needs an adequate band holder for excess band . Any ideas what I can do beside putting an ugly paper clip on to hold the band in place.??????? Thanks anyway.

Nice But One Flaw
The watch is very nice especially for the cost. There is one flaw. The ring that holds the band slides around and the band will not stay latched. I ended up putting tape on the back of the band to hold it in place.

Watch broke within a month
Bought this as a gift for someone special. Jeweler said it was an inexpensive watch and not worth repair. The watch looked great but keeping time is rather important. very disappointed.
