This is a really nice-looking watch, but (as several other reviewers had noted, and I ignored) the band is poorly designed. If your wrist is exactly the right size you won't have a problem - but a little bit in either direction and the band either presses into the skin or it's so loose the buckle comes undone. The band is stiff mesh, and the loop that holds the excess band is unattached, so it slides along the length of the band. If not for being loose, you wouldn't be able to get the stiff band into it, but it sometimes slides loose on its own. This watch is grossly overvalued at the supposed original price.

I am very pleased with this watch, I believe it to be an exceptional value. I titled this review the way I did specifically because the first time I wore the watch in Company, I received so many compliments on my expensive watch and comments like your husband is so good to you and picks out the best stuff and spares no expense! A real win.

The watch does not stay closed. It flops open all the time. Otherwise I love it. It is a beautiful looking watch.

I bought this watch in silver several months ago and wore it again just recently. I was immediately reminded why I disliked it so much as soon as I put it on. The band is so stiff that it slips out of the loop that should secure it and there is no way to keep it pklace. I did not return it because I would have only received a partial refund. I received an email from "Overstock.com" today saying that this was an item I would want to purchase - WRONG!yggep

This watch is keeping excellent time so far. I like the watch pretty well, but color is artificially bright gold, so it looks fake, but for the price I can't complain The main problem with this watch is that it is not tight enough for a small wrist. I have 2 1/2 inches of loose band hanging there, and the one small holder does not hold it more than a few minutes when wearing. it.. If the buckle had a back side like a belt buckle it might help some, but it still needs an adequate band holder for excess band . Any ideas what I can do beside putting an ugly paper clip on to hold the band in place.??????? Thanks anyway.

The watch face is beautiful, but the band is a bad design. Mine has already begun to show signs of wear and I haven't worn it that much in the month or so that I've had it. I will replace the band soon, then I'm sure I'll really enjoy it. I still believe it was a good value purchase.

I would not advise this watch. Although relatively attractive in appearance, it is difficult to put on. I have used it for a little more than two weeks, and the clasp is breaking away from the mesh band. Looks as though I will be looking for another watch within the week! Very disappointing.

The extra strap keeps coming out from the metal holder so it sticks out a lot and you have to stop what you're doing and put in back through the holder. It's a very pretty watch but I don't wear it as much since the strap is a problem. For the money, I'll keep it. But I wouldn't give it as a gift because of the strap issue.

This watch was even nicer than I expected. Definitely looks like an expensive watch. Ordered one in gold and silver and really glad I did. On the website it looked like it had an expansion bracelet, which is ofter a problem for me since I have a small wrist. Instead, to my pleasant surprise it has a belt style bracelet which easily adjusts. Since I have only had the watch a short period of time, I cannot rate its durability.

This watch looked very sophisticated on the web site. When I received it, it looked cheap. Also the band does not bend around the wrist comfortable and while on the wrist, it does not stay securely in the hole link, because it is not flexiable to bend around the wrist. I can not wear it, because it will fall off. I was not satisfied with this product at all.

This is one beautiful watch. Very elegant and preferrably suited for thin wrists. The latch is kind of a disappointment, but nothing to spoil the overall watch. It definitely doe NOT look like it could cost $293 listed by Overstock. But for the price you pay for it, this is an amazing watch :)

I was looking for a GOLD WATCH that wasnt the ordinary. This one fit the bill. I love it. It is very comfortable and the face is just the right size. I would recommend!

Got this for my mom for Christmas, I think she'll love it

The watch is very nice especially for the cost. There is one flaw. The ring that holds the band slides around and the band will not stay latched. I ended up putting tape on the back of the band to hold it in place.

I love this watch and in fact when I got it, I showed it to my two ladies friend and they both like it too...

Bought this as a gift for someone special. Jeweler said it was an inexpensive watch and not worth repair. The watch looked great but keeping time is rather important. very disappointed.

I wish I had believed the other reviews. They said the band won't stay fastened and they were right. I have tried everything (except pliars) to get the band to stay in place, but it won't stay under the fastener and flops around constantly. It is a bit hard to fasten too on the belt like prong that goes through the band. It is pretty, but what a waste of money.
