It's been mentioned that the sliding piece that holds the strap down. That is true, but it only takes a little pressure with a pliers (with cloth over the metal) to tighten just enough.

I love this watch it is so classy looking and it did not rob my wallet of hard earned cash. Thought it to be reasonably priced and love to show it off to my friends and family. The perfect touch to this past holiday season, it went with everything I wore from jeans to dressy for New Year's Eve parties. It is a no brainer - buy it and you will not regret it.

This is a beautiful looking watch. However, in no time at all, the mesh band began to "unravel" and displayed sharp edges, snagging many of my clothes and also becoming difficult to remove from my wrist. Since I really liked the appearance of the watch and its pricetag, I ordered another, thinking I might have better luck. Wrong! The same problems sprung up again. I am very disappointed since I really love the look of the watch, but within a few weeks, the band becomes troublesome and I won't be ordering a third!

I really like this watch. It is very attractive and fits well. I only have a problem with the catch on the back. The little strap pops up a lot. I am going to see about getting it sautered, that should help.

The watch is comfortable and give a rich appearance. It is easy to put on and take off. It arrive with the correct time and has maintained accurate time. I like it very much. Since then, have ordered another watch.

Love the look of the watch and it's running great, however the band does not stay put. The additional band slides out of the holder and ends up flapping around within minutes of putting it on.

I gave this watch as to my mom for her birthday. She loved it. She commented that it fit perfectly and that it was extremely light. And, of course, it is very aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Overall, an extremely good value.

Don't waste your money. You get what you pay for. I doubt anybody sane who sees this watch in person would pay over $200 for it. It's all advertising gimmic. I bought the watch and the bracelet was broken in a month's time. Disappointing.

This Dufante watch by Lucien PIccard has beautiful styling. I would certainly recommend this product because of its style and good looks. Since it was just purchased I have not had the time to know if it is a reliable product.
Have to depend on the reputation of the maker. So far the time has been very accurate. The face is readable.

As stated by other customer reviewers, the watch band did come unfastened several times. I was able to remedy this by compressing the loop that secures the end of the band with pliars enough to require slipping the end of the band through the loop and working it by hand up toward the buckle. I have had no more trouble with it since. The watch is very attractive, easy to read and I believe I will get much service from it. I am completely satisfied and purchased it in spite of the other negative comments. The problem was easily remedied. The fact it is brass and not base metal and has a stainless steel case backing are other reasons I purchased it. I would highly recommend it.

This watch is beautiful but the band will not stay shut. It slides out of the loop and keeps hanging open. I want to wear it because of it's prettiness, but I have to figure out how to keep it on. I think if the band were different, it would be the most perfect watch.

The watch is pretty to look at however the numbers are hard to read and the watch band does not stay closed.
The loop to hold the band does not keep the watch in place. It comes undone very easily making it easy to loose the watch(falls off).
