I own this in black, as shown here, but also have the same watch in white. I liked it so much, had to buy it twice! It is not particularly clunky in appearance--neither band nor the face would be considered truly oversized for a women's watch. But it is quite heavy and substantial so it's not for ladies who prefer a daintier look. Even though it's marketed as a sports watch, the bevel doesn't turn, it's merely there for the look, not the function. But I would be hard pressed to find anything this quality at a department store for the price Overstock offers. I've had my watches for weeks now with zero complaints. I had to remove three links and thankfully my hubby had no problem handling that--just 5 minutes with tools found right in the garage. (Directions are not provided for this so I'd recommend taking the watch to a professional jeweler, but that's usually quite affordable.) The watch is fairly casual, but the enamel on the band has a nice sheen so it can be dressed up too. I've had no issues with paint coming off or any chipping whatsoever. Definitely a high quality finish. The clasp is easy to put on by yourself (you don't have to hold your tongue just right to gets this on easily) and it's not loosened up like some watches do so that you feel it will fall off at any minute. I really like the simplicity of this timepiece as I'm not into the current trend of huge, glitzy watches that look as though they've been bedazzled by 6 year year old beauty queen. For a hardy, everyday watch that's comfy to wear and keeps perfect time, I highly recommend.
