I am very happy with my new watch. The face is bold and elegant and the band is solid and comfortable. Overall, it's a great value and a gorgeous piece. I'm ordering two more for holiday gifts!

I liked the watched a lot. It is more thick than the usual watches, but looks good.

the watch is way more then i expected to recieve at the unreal low price. i have had no trouble with the band as so have stated and i have worn it alot. once again overstocked have out done itself once again.

The watch face is VERY big. Also, it is merely a plated finish on the metal, and is very cheap. We went to get the watch engraved to give as a groomsman gift, and the engraving needle scratched the product oddly on account of it being much softer metal than it looked. When we attempted to buff out the scratch, the metal became discolored as the plating was buffed off the base metal. If you get this watch, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO ENGRAVE IT. Additionally, the brackets on the face that the strap attaches to are not flat (you can't tell from the picture). They curve down, but at a different angle than the band does. This looks extremely odd when worn. We ended up throwing the watch in the trash and finding a better one. I didn't mind buying it at the Overstock.com price but I would have been horrified if I had paid the list-price for the watch, as it is clearly of an inferior quality. If you use the list-price that Overstock..com indicates when trying to determine the relative value of the product, don't make that mistake here. We chose the watch based on reviews suggesting the watch looked very expensive. That is not consistent with my personal opinion; I think it looks quite cheap.

The watch has been good for me. It has some weight to it, which I like. Straight forward simple design makes it avoid looking cheesy. There is no date feature, which I have to get used too. A good value watch when you don't want to spend an outragous amount for a watch that is only slightly better.

I was looking for a nice looking watch for my husband's Bday and found this one at Overstocks at an unbeatable price. It does not have any extra functionality (no date, for instance), but at this price, it's a great time piece. The only problem I have with it is that it is a little heavy on the wrist.

I simply love this watch!! The first day I wore it I received numerous comments on it and the price was outstanding!! The only draw back may be for people who have a larger wrist, as the band just fit mine. Overall a great value.

Had tones of complements on this, just ordered my 2nd one from overstock . The first one ran me about ** bucks but lasted almost 2 years. It still works but the strap was worn down, so figured it was time to get a new one. There's a reason it has such a high rating on this site. Grab it if its in stock.

I spent a few hundred on a 'fun' watch for my husband: rubber strap, great name, touch of color etc. At the last minute I thought that he may not be ready to go 'fun' with his watch and so I started cruising O to see what they had. The design of this watch caught my eye and I kept being shocked to see that it was so cheap. I would keep looking at more expensive choices and every time I would see this watch in the sidebar, I would forget the crazy price and admire the look. I decided to take a chance because, if it keep catching my eye like this, then it already passed aesthetic approval and would then come down to the quality. This watch has a ton of positive rating in terms of heft, quality and style, also up close. I was particularly drawn to people repeating that the watch is heavy and solid. So, I went for it as a back up/extra/add on - practically a stocking stuffer-type 'if he hates the other, I can distract him with this until I get something else' choice. Well! I am really pleased and still surprised, again, given the price, that the watch is really nice -- I mean it is beautiful! The box and the box sleeve look like cardboard in coloring but when you actually pick it up you realize that it has a soft/matte gold metallic luster to it. This is nice because it looks like the new idea of eco-luxury in packaging. Natural colors (beige/gold/cream/dk brown type, nice strong and classic font - simple chic. The box feels solid and after you slide the sleeve off of it and open the case, it is a cream colored, flat velvety texture inside which emphasizes the design impact of the watch itself. Now if you are used to the heft of a thick, stainless Movado watch, for example, this watch will not feel particularly heavy - but aside from the very high end, larger, masculine watches, this watch has a really nice visual and tactile presence, in the hand and on the wrist. It looks and feels substantial. It looks clean and elegant - the thickness makes it seem very design-conscious, modern - classic but with an edge. I have to say that I was thrilled to give it to him and he LOVED it instantly. The 'fun' watch is still sitting in the return box to Nordstrom and he wears this one every day. It looks gorgeous with a suit at a beautiful dinner out but not at all out of place with jeans and a sweater - it is that versatile: classic yet modern cool. dirt cheap yet elegant and solid - weird! This was a 100%; success and I would encourage anyone out there to buy this with absolute confidence. I was so please that I came back looking for another Piccard in an eye catching style for myself and another for him but I have yet to see any other Piccard with as great a design sense as this one.

This is a very bold wristwatch, not at all suitable for slender or small wrists. It is heavy, the watch face and backing are very well constructed and the mechanics are still working well. The detail work is very good, with no pitting, scratching or flaws. This is a heavy watch, and if you or the person you are purchasing this for are not used to a watch of this size/weight, it may take some getting used to. Because I prefer leather bands, I took this to a watch repair shoppe and had them add a thick leather strap which only added to the value of this piece. I like the clean lines, excellent detail and accuracy of this watch and look forward to making additional purchases of this brand in the future.

Excellent value. I bought one two years ago. It has kept excellent time. I replaced it with this one because the bar that attached the strap to the watch broke and it would have cost more to repair the strap than it did to buy a new watch.

i would recommend because it has a classy look to it and its very nice just i hope the time hands would glow but over all its a good watch

My husband loved this watch and I loved the price. Some reviews mention durability so I can't comment on that as we just received it. It won't be his everyday watch, but one of a few he wears. It is stylish and very nice looking. It is larger than a "normal" watch, at least by our rather conservative standards and what my husband normal wears, but I wanted to try something a little different and was really suprised by how much he liked it. Another great price on Overstock!

Although I love the simple design and the price is certainly good, this watch lasted for less than a year. When I tried to reset it for going off Daylight Savings Time, the stem came out and the watch stopped working.

Love my watch. Came and loved it as soon as I opened the box. Package was very well done. Watch looks great, better than I thought it would. Has a very elegant but classy look. Band is a little small but then again I have big wrists. Great buy. The price was amazing and the quality is great. Have bought the brown strap watch also and love it the same.

This watch looks cheap and the face is really big and bulky. I do not have a small wrist but this face is too bulky to truly look good on anyone. Very disappointed in watch, even the holes on the strap started to wear out after just a week.

This is the second watch of this type (Dufonte by Lucien Piccard) which I have purchased. I was very happy with the first (tan color) and wanted a black color to wear with different outfits. This was inexpensive, reliable (keeps perfect time) and attractive, as was the first one. Happy customer.

I bought this watch as a birth day gift to my husband. It was nice look just like the picture showed on the internet. But after a month of daily wear. It has a lot of mist or you can call it steam shows up under the cover of the watch. It is hard to see the time. The back of this watch actually fall off about a month. It only had a month of life NOT even a 6 months. I read other people's review before I purchased it. No one has said anything about how this watch works.

This watch is nice and a great value at the price overstock sells it at, but the watch itself looks much more dressy than the picture provided. The case looks like brushed stainless steel in the picture, whereas the actual watch is almost a chrome. I bought this as a casual watch with black leather band, but could almost wear it with my suit. I think it is a true value, but not much different than the Dufonte by Lucien Piccard Dress Watch that I bought with it, minus the shaped faces- but exact same leather bands.
