I really like the appearance of the watch. I bought this for my granddauhter for Christmas. I am sure she will like the watch.
The watch works well, it has a zinc case so it doesn't feel as substantial as a steel case watch but the light weight is probably a good thing since this is a kids watch. My only complaint is that as a "time teacher" watch, the hands are too difficult to differentiate. While the hands are marked "hour" and "minute", the words are so small that they are nearly impossible to read without a magnifiying glass (at least for my aging eyesight).
I purchased two of these watches for my granddaughter and niece for Christmas. They appear to be solid and cute, appropriate for someone learning to tell time. I guess my only hesitancy (and reason for 4 instead of 5 stars) is that the "minutes" digits seem like they could be a little easier to read. However, Disney knows kids so I am hopeful they will be a big hit.
As you can see the numbers are upside down. My daughter has been learning to tell time for about a month prior to receiving the watch, so it was not a big deal. But, I wished they had made this watch with the numbers correctly such as an adult watch. Because the 6 looks like a 9! The construction is really good. And the fact that it has the five minute intervals, 20,25,30, 35,etc is a good feature so the child can learn quickly. Very nice watch with the exception of the numbers upside down!
