"WOW" IS THE WORD
I saw these exact earrings on another site -- they were almost twice the price I paid at Overstock. These earrings are not large, and the stones are not big. But, the chrome diopside are a lush, deep green and appear to be good quality. The dangle is one inch in length and the earrings have a nice presence on the ear. These earrings are stunning as far as I'm concerned; I think emeralds should be jealous of chrome diopside. I'm very happy with this purchase, although some women may find the earrings small and dainty.

stones do not match
When I ordered these earrings they only had two pairs left. I ordered both pairs so I could select the best of the 4 earrings. I'm glad I did because there were only two good earrings of the 4. Even the two I kept have stones that don't match exactly. The two earrings I returned are really bad. One earring has stones that are very dark and the other earrings is very light. Don't buy them and think that no one will be able to tell because they will hand on either side of your head - they will - because they are so mismatched. The only reason anyone should buy the last pair of earrings is if you plan to take the stones out and use them in several other pieces of jewelry that you don't plan to wear together. Like maybe take two of best matching stones and put them as accent stones in a ring. And then make a pair of earrings from the next best matching stones. But other than that you will have left over stones because on earring is very dark and not representative ofr the normal bright green chrome diopside color.
