    1) No second counter on primary dial; have to go to stopwatch mode to count seconds. 2) When character illumination is activated, characters are, well, not. Or rather, barely so - MUCH dimmer than a similar Timex "Indiglo". Perhaps this was to save drain on the batteries, but it fails to meet minimum mission requirements. 3) Pedometer function is hard to set. 4) Strap is actually pretty good. 5) Alarm works. 6) Instructions do not precisely match the device. Which, for a machine this intricate, is an issue. This is the only Dakota watch I have ever bought . . and will be. Spend more; try a better brand.
