    I purchased this watch for my son who works on the water. He loves the clip watch and the dial is protected. But the watch is NOT WATERPROOF /RESISTANT -- at least it is not stamped anywhere on the watch. It could be waterproof, but why take the chance? In addition, the compass does not work. Although there are a few negatives, my son really likes the watch as it is good quality.
