The pearls themselves are maybe C/D grade, but based on the picture and the price, that's what I expected so I wasn't surprised. Several (4-5) pearls are missing patches of nacre, but there are few dye spots. The pearls are a much lighter, pinker shade of purple--more of a dark lavender than a true purple--but that actually works better for my purposes. Had I paid any more for these, I'd have felt shortchanged, but I'm OK with these pearls at the price.

- Please tell us about the quality of the product. C/D grade pearls
I was hoping to receive a necklace that could be doubled as the picture had shown. Instead, I received one string that was too short to double. A clasp at the end would make this possible. I was also a bit dissapointed in the color; more pink than purple. It was pretty; I love the irregularities of the freshwater pearls.
