These earrings are really pretty and big. Not bad for the price. Note that the earrings have an almost purple hue, as opposed to the greenish yellow color displayed in the picture.

Given as a gift, they impressed the reciipient. A smart buy for your gift closet or yourself!

Got the black Akoya pearl earrings i ordered today. I am very disappointed. The color is more purple than gray and the size was a lot smaller than advertised. Returned the earrings for a replacement. Customer Service Rep was very helpful with assisting in the return.

I bought the earings for mothers day. THey just reduced the price on them - when i got the package I knew why. The pearls had horrible visible discolored defects on them, one actually had a small hole in it.I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. I could not believe they actually sent me something like this.

These earrings although nice in quality were the wrong color. They were a deep copper brown which is lovely if you are looking for that shade, but I was trying to buy black/dark gray pearls to match a necklace(the listing is for BLACK akoya pearls not brown). I am sending these back and being optimistic that overstock can get a replacement for me in black/dark gray. Nice but not what I was looking for.

I received a set of Black Pearl Earrings and necklace from a friend stationed in Japan and lost one of the earrings. I ordered the Akoya Pearl Earrings as replacements. I was extremely pleased with the quality of this set and the price was right. They are so beautiful.

Pearl size is smaller than i thought. The pearls color is not as pictured. Way too peacock-ish and purple colored. Pearl surfaces has bubble like bruises all over. Its horrible. Not worth the price. NOT Happy.

These earrings are beautiful! Nice black finish, with a very slight purple tint. Pearls are well matched in size and color. Wonderful luster. I picked these out as a gift and my daughters bought them for me. I have received numerous compliments when I wear these earrings. I love them. What a wonderful gift.

I have recently started to wear some pearl items that I bought in Las Vegas last fall. I was looking for a pair of earrings to match them. I found these on Overstock and ordered them. I am very happy with the size, color and quality of these pearls. I received them very quickly and the value was great for the price.

Really pretty, but as others have noted has a purple tinge in the color. It matched my wife's necklace perfectly. Price was at least 30% below comparable gift options elsewhere. This size is quite large on her ears; she's 5' 2" tall so keep this in mind (especially since larger ones are also on sale!)

The photo of the earrings on-line did not do them justice, I was very pleased when I opened the box and had the opportunity to closely examine the earrings. They were the size I expected and looked much more expensive than the price I paid. They were an excellent value for the money, and I'd recommend the earrings to anyone who wanted to give a special gift to his wife or girl friend.

The earrings are very nice for the price, however the packaging could be improved as they arrived loose in a bag--a box and bag would have been more attractive, but overall the recepient loved them.

They are beautiful my wife loves them, make sure you understand the sizes, b/c 7mmis actually a large pearl so check it out first. NO pitting or visual defects better then expected.

These earrings were very nice. If I were the one creating this piece of jewelry I would hive used white gold instead of the yellow gold for the posts. White gold is much more complementary to the beautiful black pearls.I would have used the white gold even if it meant having to charge more fore these earrings. Excellence is always something to strive for. I appreciated the speedy delivery. I gave the pearls to my daughter and she seemed happy with them.

I really liked the earrings when I got them. Purchased them to go with my Tahitian pear, and even though these are freshwater, they go very nicely.
