After recently getting pierced ears, I began looking for diamond studs in reputable (but not Tiffany-grade) local LA stores. I was doing my research. I decided on the quarter carat size, which I thought was good for a guy....I didn't want to be a rap artist or compete with Oprah or Martha Stewart for dazzle. I wanted good color, clean stones in yellow gold with screw backs for safety and with basket settings. The retail price tag was in the $800 to $1000 range, which was more than I wanted to lay out for my new adventure. With the exception of the basket setting, Overstock filled the bill for a fraction of the price and I knew if I wasn't satisfied I could do a hassle-free return. The studs came faster than promised, exactly the milimeter size promised (I measured) and so clean and white and full of life and sparkle that it was amazing. The scintillation from the diamonds is far better than the best stones I'd seen while shopping (and those stores have phenomenal lighting). The screw backs are so comfortable than even sleeping with them in, you can't feel a thing and while those oversized gold backs keep everything secure and facing the right direction, the base of the prong style setting rests against your ear lobe to hold the mountings flush, while allowing the most light to pass through the diamonds (while basket settings without a solid back -I now know- squash the lobe and aren't as comfortable). I'd suggest these to anyone, male or female as the deal of the century.

These earrings are terribly underpriced. Have seen similar pairs for twice the price. The screw on backs are usually a $65 extra. Had my ears pierced again so I can wear them everyday.

I have some princess-cut diamond solitaire earrings that are smaller than these- and a whole lot more expensive, but you'd never know that. I am very pleased with the size and sparkle- and I really, really like the post with the screw as opposed to the butterfly clip. You won't regret this purchase!

I've been looking for simple studs for daily wear for a while now. I got a pair of 1/3 carat from a box store and realized that i paid a lot for them. Of course, they were nearly colorless but it was still a steep price for everyday wear. So i got these instead at 1/3 the price. The other stone was very sparkly with very noticeable inclusions, but the other stone was pretty dull. It would have been perfect if the stones were of the same quality and sparkle. I alreay returned the 1/3 carat i bought from the store, and i dont want to go over the hassle of returning these pair. So i ended up using them instead. It is a nice pair for the price.

These earrings are simply beautiful and easy to wear everyday. They add just the right amount of sparkle to frame your face. But do use caution, I purchased these earrings because they were the screw backs. I was concerned about losing them. Unfortunately, the screw back was defective on one of the earrings and I did loose it afterall. I am very upset because I really loved these earrings.I would recommend this product but with a warning to guard against losing them.

I purchased this pair for my husband and he loves them. They have a nice sparkle and are pretty clear. They look very nice on him. I like the back also. They screw nicely and they are the perfect size for him. I recommend these, he wears them all the time

I have had three pairs of studs bought for me as gifts and they have just been too tiny. Perfect for everyday, but not when you want dress up n stunning. This pair of earrings does not dissappoint. Sparkly, bigger than expected. and just plain beautiful. I love the screw type backs and they are comfy...not tight. Guess Overstock got it on the review that complained about the packaging...as they came in a gift box. Not fancy, but who cares. All the value is in the earrings. Now I wonder why I waited so long. I will buy more earrings from overstock and recommend these anytime I am complimented on them. And I will get compliments

I am a 20 something year old guy and I was hesitant to buy these, but I am really glad I did. The size is perfect for me (which was one of my main concerns). I have researched diamonds for a little while before purchasing a pair and was worried about the "J" rating. However, these diamonds arrived just as the appear in the picture. What a great deal.

I bought these as a replacement for a pair that I lost. I paid half the amount for these as I had for my original pair 12 years ago, that I had purchased at a speciality jeweler and they were by far a better quality. There color was very brillant and far exceed my expectations. I was disappointed in the presentation of the product upon arrival. I would think that a little money could be spent to make sure these were presented in a little better manner than on a piece of cardboard, wrapped in a piece of tissue paper.

My first impression was they were ok. I looked at them later and realized these are very sparkling diamonds. My girlfriend LOVED them. She has been receiving compliments galore. If Momma is happy, so am I :)
