Cultured Freshwater Silvery Pearl Necklace

The necklace was very beautiful and perfect for the look I was going for. It was much better quality than I hoped for the price. It was for a costume party but I like it so much I will wear it again and again!

It looks great, and I got lots of compliments when I wore it. Love being able to wear it lots of different ways - from two strands to five!

I bought these pearls and am quite happy with them. They aren't as lustrous as the pictures, they are a bit duller and not as deeply colored. But, I think they still look nice and the length is so much fun. You can wear them a lot of different ways and I think they would look fabulous with a gray or beige silk blouse. Mine are strung tightly enough that the string isn't visible. Although not as great looking as the pictures, overall I am completely satisfied with them.

These really are silvery - not black - and the little pearls are so small they look like beads - and there is a gap where I can see the fishline underneath (for better ease of wrapping?). However, looped around the big pearls (which are imperfect but pretty) wrap around to create a really interesting asymmetrical pattern. This is not an elegant piece of jewelry but it is fun and unique. With these expectations, I recommend it.

The strand that I received was an awful color grey that bordered on yuk....It almost had a brown tinge to the edges of the pearls if you can picture this. It does not look like the picture and frankly, looks fake. They are going back tomorrow. From the look of the package they came it, I'd say they were someone else's return....
