Cultured Freshwater Assorted Color Pearl Necklace

I was excited about this piece as it seemed so pretty on the pictures.. I disregarded the comments above and decided to give it a shot anyway - Well, I was just as disappointed as they were. Mainly, the big pink "stones". whatever those are, are so off.. they really do not match the rest of the necklace, and seem almost like plastic or pebbles you'd find on a beach somewhere. THe other little pearls are ok, but placed in the piece just seem to be cheap themselves too.

The strand is unusual. My strand has four of the large pink ovals and the smaller pearls are evenly spread, but the large pink ovals are spaced in such a way that if I double strand, then 2 ovals are in front and 2 ovals are in back or towards the back on either side. Very odd. I could VERY tightly wear as a three strand and then the ovals are spaced better, but it is uncomfortable. Very interesting necklace, but I would neither buy again nor would I recommend it to a friend. I normally love overstock's merchandise, but I can't say many positive things about this strand.

The strand I got has mostly brown pearls mixed with whites and creams....very, very few pink pearls so the elongated rhodolite looks terribly mis matched and out of place on this necklace. It there were more pink pearls, it would be fabulous. Also if you double them, the rhodolite shows at the bottom and at the BACK of your neck ! If you leave them in a single strand they are just too long....Really a bad length to deal with....I can't decide it it's worth it to have them re strung without the rhodolite stones....I'm just so disappointed.....
