  I was thrilled when I opened the box with this necklace; It surpassed all my expectations!! I haven't taken it off since I got it and even sleep and shower with it on. It is a good size for me as I am 5 feet,'7 inches tall. The stones are brilliant and I'm very proud to wear it. The necklace chain is very well crafted and looks like it belongs on an expensive piece of Jewelry.. All in all every detail of this Star of David is designed beautifully.

  This is nothing but a cheap trinket made of 1/5 sterling silver and 4/5 "other" metals. This is not sterling silver as stated FIVE times in the description, rather mostly "other" metals. Incredible light weight tells me it is likely tin.

  I bought two, one in amethyst and one in smoky topaz. Admittedly, I didn't check out what "rose-plated sterling silver colored" is. When first receiving both necklaces, I almost couldn't tell which was supposed to be smoky topaz, as it looked rather purple. Not wanting duplicates, I sent it back, paying the postage to do so. Then, when I went to wear the "amethyst' necklace, I then saw that the chain, and importantly, the setting for the stones, looked orange, or orangy-pink, neither silver nor gold, made the whole thing look fake (fake shouldn't look fake) and cheap. Spent on more postage.

  While the necklace is very pretty it is not 18.5 inches. It's more like 16 and that was very disappointing.
