Croton Women's Quartz Mesh Strap Watch

This watch has a simple and yet classy look to it. It is easy to read the time, and I love that it has the date on it, but the numbers are extremely small. I do like the buckle strap, but had to add a small rubberband to hold the slide so the strap wouldn't keep sliding out. I have very small wrists so the "leftover" strap is rather long. It might stay better on someone with a more average wrist size. It seems to be well built. The band seems sturdy and well constructed, as does the face itself. Time will tell how durable it is, as I have a job where that may be put to the test. I believe it is a good value for the money, and would have no problem recommending it to others.

Recently purchased this watch because of it's looks. It has been working well thus far. Only problem is with the strap - it's too stiff and continues to fall out of its band strap. All in all, a nice watch.

I received this watch last week from Overstock. So far so good. I am a one-watch kind of person so I need something kind of neutral that will match just about anything (and I usually wear silver jewelry), casual or business. The strap is mesh metal, much more comfortable than leather and does not pinch at all. Note that it has a different closure than many mesh metal bands - - it has a grommet closure much like many leather watch straps or belts. My last 2 watches with mesh metal straps had the more typical kind of closure, a fold-over clasp, and both of those previous watches ended up falling off a few times randomly when I was on my bike or walking around. This watch should hopefully not do that. The picture is a little deceiving because the color of the face is not really so white but more like a light silver, which for me was a nice surprise. Also, I didn't notice this in Overstock's pic, but the tip of the crown (that thing on the right that sets the time) is black, not silver. This doesn't bother me, but thought I'd mention it. I found the date hard to set, you have to pull the crown out halfway (pull it out all the way to set the time), and it was hard to get it just halfway, but my boyfriend managed to do it. Overall I would recommend this watch as it is a good deal for the money and the quality looks good (although only time will tell as I am not that familiar with Croton watches).
