Croton Men's 23k Gold-Plated Stainless Steel Divers Watch

This is a nice watch. The price is unbeatable for something this good looking, with gold plating and an automatic winding mechanism. The watch is a beautiful two-tone with a very detailed black face. I get compliments all the time. People generally think it's a Rolex or equally impressive watch. The face of the watch is really nice and unique. The web pics don't quite capture the face patterns under the crystal. There are different textures and patterns that appear almost 3D under natural light. The gold looks great as well. My primary complaint about the gold is that it is a very thin plating, which I expect or this watch would be worth a fortune based on current market prices. If you rest your wrist on a table, be careful. I have already rubbed off some of the plating on the band near the clasp after about 2 weeks of wear. The only other issues I have are minor. The clasp itself is a little loose and the small overlapping piece tends to undo itself and hang loose, and sometimes rattle. I plan to have a local watch guy tighten it up. The pieces that connect the band to the face are also a little loose and rattle on occasion. I actually thought the rattling was from inside the watch at first. The automatic winding is quiet and appears to be accurate. It does not store kinetic energy like a Seiko or similar watch, so it will need to be shaken daily to keep going. And like other $$$+ watches the shaking of the watch does not fast forward the date and time to its current date/time if left unused for awhile, but again this is only $$$ we're talking about for a watch. It won't have the durability or conveniences that an expensive watch offers, but for the price it's pretty darn nice. If properly cared for, this will be a sweet addition to the collection. I have some $$$ Seiko watches that may run better, and last longer, but this Croton watch is by far the best looking watch I've ever worn.

• How accurate was the sizing? The picture doesn't really give you a true idea of the size. The watch face and main casing are almost as wide as a normal man's wrist.
• Please tell us about the quality of the product. A great looking watch with features not found on most watches under $$$.
